Family Watchdog: Find the Bad Guys Next Door
When you visit this site you can enter your address and a map will pop up with your house as a small icon of a house. There will be red, blue, and green dots surrounding your entire neighborhood. When you click on these dots, a picture of a criminal will appear with his or her home address and the description of the crime he or she has committed. The best thing is that you can show your children these pictures and see how close these people live to your home or school. This site was developed by John Walsh from America’s Most Wanted.

Wow! That's a little bit Orwellian, but it gives me the creeps for other, more obvious reasons.

Gotta agree w/Scotty on this one: What if the Bush Administration developed the "list"?
What if they make a mistake and it's YOUR house?
The police state is here.

This is nothing new. This list or one like it has been available for quite some time through the State Of California website. This is just a new one and a private site. I too have mixed feelings about it but would rather know than not that I had a sexual deviant living in my neighborhood. As for the Bush admin having something to do with it, I think that is a stretch, Lionel. Bush is a sucky president, but these lists were available under Clinton, too, I believe.
