Listed below are links to weblogs that reference The Peebleses Support Obama:
Interesting. I love Obama, and try to avoid the partisan venom typical of the people who relish foreclosure listings because they somehow think it's an indictment of realtors, and who don't seem to care that it's an indication of very sad times. I'm curious about their take on this -- is Obama now the devil because Peebles supports him?

Not the devil, just another politician playing upon the desires, hopes, and dreams of people who think that "change" can be brought about through wishful thinking, which is why I support HRC. She isn't wearing that mask. Given that the policy differences between HRC and BHO are mere nuance, what were the underlying motivations that compelled Obama to enter the presidential race and take on a candidate who for all practical purposes already had the party unified behind her? I submit that other forces are at work here other than "hope," "change," or "audacity." Power is a strong motivator. Just ask Don Peebles.

Yes, and the Clintons have proven time and again that they have no interest in power. It's a shame that everyone else didn't recognize that and stand aside for Hillary's coronation.

If you don't think the Clintons are the most power-hungry animal in the forest, you haven't been paying attention. Grasping at the white, undereducated, blue-collar male voter is the last straw of a desperate, in-debt politician who is running more for the ego rush than any altruistic ideal you may think motivates her.
One thing Hillary should be proud of is that she has shown beyond a reasonable doubt why Bill got elected in the first place. It was her stick-to-it-ive-ness, not his. It was her White House, not his. Bill wasn't "the first black president." He was "the first woman president." Hillary didn't leave him after Monica because the White House was hers. She had earned it.
As for the Peebleses, at least they have the courage to use their real names and not hide behind an anonymous one.

I think the corrosive influence of money is once again evident here: Obama has no choice but to raise as much as he can--it's the same for the other candidates.
I will call attention to Obama's finance chair; one Penny Pritzker, (spelling?) a member of one of the wealthiest families in the US.
Ms. Pritzker was one of the inventors of the sup-prime mortgage and the part-owner of a bank that failed about ten years ago, leaving some 1,400 depositors without their savings.
Senator Clinton's spokesman for Illinois is Ms. Pritzker's brother. The Chicago reporter who dug all this up commented that the genius of this family was that they didn't just give money to these campaigns, they gave themselves.
And of course, we shouldn't forget that Senator Mc Cain is one of the "Keating Five"--a select group of senators including our own Alan Cranston, who took money from a big-time thief--Chas. Keating.

"...the courage to use their real names..."
At a campaign fundraiser?!? Using their real names?!? Somebody nominate them for the congressional medal of honor!
