CITY SPIN CYCLE: New Riptide Category
Welcome to a new year of speaking out on hot city issues here in P-Town. We may be Pacifica, but our discussions are anything but. So in honor of all our hotheads, firebrands, watchdogs, whistleblowers, pundits, policy wonks, and other practitioners of the democratic arts, Riptide has created a new category called CITY SPIN CYCLE, where you will find all sorts of topics covering City Council, municipal taxes and finances, civic duties and responsibilities, city services and budgets, civil servants and uncivil servants, and everything else in between. So come on in, the water's fine.

John,
You forgot my "favorite": NIMBY!
Of course there is my actual favorite: Citizen. Preferably with either "active" or "concerned" in front of Citizen!

hmmm... the water is fine, but it's getting more expensive. Let's conserve and save on our bills!
