Farmers Market Gears Up for Spring: Reserve Nonprofit Space Now
Happy New Year, one and all!
I know it's a struggle to get back in the saddle after the holidays, but here we go! I am planning for the 2009 Season of the Coastside Farmer's Markets of Half Moon Bay and Pacifica, and would like to extend the invitation to your organization to take advantage of the opportunity to participate. The Market will continue to provide the space, a booth, and a table to your community-based nonprofit free of charge. All you need to do to participate is to schedule your dates with me as soon as possible. I would like to have the schedule set by the end of January so our insurance carriers are happy!
Please drop me a note as soon as you can with your preferred dates and I'll get right back to you to confirm them. I will need everyone who participates to complete a hold-harmless form and return it to me as soon as possible. Also, if your organization participated during the 2008 season, my tax preparer person (and I) would most appreciate if you would kindly drop me a note of acknowledgment that you did so. An email pdf on your letterhead is fine. It will save you the time to find a stamp and envelope!
