Old Republic Title in Linda Mar has closed its doors, according to our source. And the new Walgreens drugstore construction project appears to be mostly idle for the past five weeks now, with a few exceptions, according to other sources. If you have news about either of these business developments in Pacifica, please click Comments at the bottom of this post.

Remax is also closing in Linda Mar Shopping Center. Some of the agents are getting their own office at Rockaway Beach, but the agency is closing their coastside offices.

There are portions of every major building project where the areas of progress are not particularly obvious to passers by. The project may have slowed down or it may simply be at one of those phases.

Walgreens is not the builder, the property owner is, a Mr. Yee. The property owner is building to suit the tenant.

Sue is correct about work continuing but the pace is a snail's-crawl.
Some days I've seen one or two workers only.
Walgreen's is slowing their pace of expansion as well, according to published news reports.
I wonder what the lease payment clauses and conditions of the Walgreen's lease look like. If the landlord's got to wait until completion, at this rate it could be months.

Walgreens has workers there most every day. Today they were digging up the street on Palmetto so I am not sure what "idle" you are referring to. It does seem slow to me but not idle.
