KFC Crash: Why Did the Chicken Cross the Road?

Mark Stechbart reports that a motorist ran into the former Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant on Highway 1 in Rockaway Beach. Skid marks and debris remain on the northbound side of the road. The wayward car crossed westward just before the beginning of the median traffic barrier and ran into the empty building, as evidenced by a damaged fence and plywood on the side of the building. Reports indicate that The Colonel was not in the house at the time of the incident.
