Cats are well-known solar power batteries. They spend most of the day sleeping near sunny windows, building up energy. Harnessing these vast numbers of mobile energy storage devices would solve many of the problems known to mankind. Unfortunately, it remains difficult to herd cats, so preparation, containerization, and transfer of solar power must be done individually. Encourage Congress to grant tax incentives to take advantage of feline solar power. There could be a tax credit for cat food, kitty litter, balls of string, catnip, and other necessary supplies for power generation.

Interesting idea, you know it has already been done in the Matrix, but there the humans were the fuel. How about a cat bed warmer, A suitable bag to restrain the cat and let the solar energy ooze out at night keeping your feet warm.
