Koch Brothers aggressively try to stop wind power.
Not content to just compete in their own arena, the Koch Brothers are trying to stop wind power systems on the East Coast through their front group, Americans for Prosperity. We all have to think, whose prosperity? Just the Koch family, it seems.

Koch brothers, along with The Family as it's called, have far more influence than Mr Soros.

Surprisingly, lots of people do know who they are. But for most of us, it's just putting a name to what we already knew was there.

The current interest in the Koch brothers was instigated by an article in the August 30, 2010 issue of the New Yorker magazine, "Covert Operations," by Jane Mayer. You can probably find it online.

It wouldn't be the first time that a truly evil individual made a charitable donation to a good cause. One needs to look at the aggregate effect one has on the world. I am sure every criminal and despot has engaged in positive behaviors at some time or other, possibly even concurrent with their atrocities.

I had no idea who the Koch brothers were, but when I was watching NOVA yesterday, David Koch was listed as one of the primary supporters of the program.
