I shot this at low tide earlier today (September 29). I don't know what the metal cladding was designed for, but if it was safety-related, there may be a problem.

Nice try, snoop doog. The city has known about the condition of the pier for many years. The problem is that would it cost a bazillion dollars to repair. But it would cost almost as much to remove it.
