I finally got around to eating at the Surf Spot for my first time this evening. In some ways, it is a tad more upscale than your average Pacifica venue, but it is in no way intimidating for those of us who work for a living. I had the fire chicken, and my friend, who had recommended the place to me, had the halibut. Our waiter was most helpful. This is truly excellent food, a pleasant atmosphere, and is a good chance to meet friends. I met several people I know on my way in and met some others that my friend knew in the course of dinner. I'll most definitely be going to the Surf Spot again. We had a great time.
