What a day to honor the memory of Martin Luther King, Jr., and the inauguration of President Barack Obama for a second term. Those of us who struggled in the Civil Rights Movement and the War on Poverty certainly can be proud that all of our sacrifices and dreams helped bring about a day like this: January 20, 2013.
