A dozen volunteers from Sharp Park men's and women's clubs and the San Francisco Public Golf Alliance, led by Sharp Park greens superintendent Wayne Kappelman, spent the morning of Saturday, February 9 pulling iceplant and replacing it with native plants on the small dune between the 16th green and 17th tee at Sharp Park Golf Course. (See photo above.) In January, another volunteer crew, including members of the Pacifica Chamber of Commerce, repaired the seawall fence on the ocean side of the golf course.

All the dogs are getting in through the many openings in the fence -- so this should provide more places for the dogs to "sign off" on.
