Buying State-of-the-art new technology means you are the beta tester. Maybe we can involve students from local universities to study what just happened so that Pacifica's mistakes aren't all for naught. I can't really fault whatever city council that was for wanting to go with the newest best technology. They were either going to have the best sewage treatment system ever or more information than they had before. Unfortunately for us, and potentially fortunately for the science on this subject, we got the second option. If life is giving you melons you might be dyslexic.

Actually, since they built that sewer outlet on that side of Rockaway, that side of Rockaway Beach has been absent of any sea life. The huge rock used to be one of the hot spots for salmon and striped bass, and nothing ever since. No crabs, no seaweed growing on the rocks, nothing.
No sand crabs in the area. If you go over to the south end, you can find sea life, but much less than before this state-of-the-art plant was built.

What's the black? Are they finding a coal deposit down there?
