Our business source says that Lucky's in Fairmont Shopping Center is closing when the lease is up, and that Safeway is trying to poach the spot.

Whole Foods won't work up in Fairmont. Not enough high-income people around to support it.
Trader Joe's was shown Crespi, Eureka Square, and Pedro Point Shopping Center where Fresh & Easy is, and passed.

I'd rather see a Trader Joe's. But good luck with anything other than a Safeway. If they want it, they'll probably get it.
