Pacifica Lions Club Funds Completion of Pacifica History Museum

Pacifica Lions Club has given $200,000 to the Pacifica Historical Society to finish its restoration of the Little Brown Church as a history museum and event center.

On January 11 a hundred happy folks gathered at the new museum to celebrate the occasion, with speeches by city officials and club members, and of course the obligatory filming and photographing of the ceremonial check handover.

Pacifica Riptide congratulates both organizations for supporting local historical awareness and restorations, including the new museum, the Ocean Shore Railroad car, and Sam Mazza's castle on the hill.
