This is a video shot with one of the hosts of the BBC hit show TOP GEAR. His observations at 70,000 feet are inspiring to anyone concerned with our day-to-day world.

YouTube has some excellent videos of the earth from things like the U2 being flown at 70,000 feet. Like the iconic shot of Earth Rise from Apollo 8 (?), these vide's give you a sense of how delicate a place we live in. The atmosphere appears as a thin haze around the planet, hardly a breathful of air. It's beautiful and kind of horrifying all at once.

HAPPY PLANET DAY! We need this one for thousands of years. Please think in terms of millennia when you think of preservation, conservation, and how much fuel we use.
