Jay Bird, if what you say is true, that the draft calls for moving the HPD from the quarry, someone sure hates Pacifica. Also, if the draft as written is passed, how will the HPD be valid anymore anywhere in town? Good Lord, the staffers working on this must truly hate our town.

Comments on the Draft EIR for the City of Pacifica General Plan update are due July 9.
The plan includes removing the HPD overlay to the quarry and including the proposed widening of Highway 1

I got a notice directly from the city, and it was also posted on the Nextdoor site.
The city has mailing lists for General Plan info as well as City Council agendas; you should be able to sign up here:

Thanks for posting this. What is the source of the Notice of Availability? I can't find it on the city's website.
(Editor's Note: A Riptide reader forwarded it to us. It is on the city website under City Focus. Try this URL: http://www.cityofpacifica.org/depts/planning/general_plan_update/default.asp)
