As fans of Robin Williams mourn his death, inquiring minds want to know if he ever visited or performed in Pacifica.

Never saw him in Pacifica, but saw him at the Stockton corner of Union Square in the 1970s when I worked for I. Magnin. My office overlooked the square and he would be wearing those rainbow suspenders and would be following people and saying funny things. I truly feel sad about this loss. Maybe because he is local or maybe because he is of my generation. Saw him in SF many times and he was truly kind and funny all the time. Sorry his inner demons won out.

I think I saw him at Winters looking for his mentor Jonathan.
