A Zen master visiting New York City goes up to a hot dog vendor and says, "Make me one with everything." The hot dog vendor fixes a hot dog and hands it to the Zen master, who pays with a $20 bill. The vendor puts the bill in the cash box and closes it. "Excuse me, but where’s my change?" asks the Zen master. The vendor responds, "Change must come from within."
This arrest was made due to a vigilant neighbor who noticed the crime in progress and called police immediately.

Surf Spot restaurant on Sea Bowl Lane closed August 27. It is now up for sale or lease. Facebook page said: "To receive a refund on any unused Surf Spot gift cards, please send the card with your mailing address to 4625 Coast Highway, Pacifica, CA 94044." Impressed that Surf Spot is honoring unused gift certificates. That's good, ethical business practice by the local owners. We hope they pay off their vendor bills the same way, so nobody gets stiffed.
