The SF Chronicle has an excellent editorial in todayÕs paper — San Francisco and its PUC need to innovate on water use — https://www.sfchronicle.com/opinion/editorials/article/Editorial-San-Francisco-and-its-PUC-need-to-13327931.php (also attached).
WeÕre picking up steam, and we need your help! Next Monday afternoon the SF Land Use and Transportation Committee will consider Supervisor PeskinÕs resolution in support of the Bay Delta Plan, and then on Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 30) the resolution will come before the full SF Board of Supervisors. If you think you might be able to attend either meeting, please let me know and IÕll share details once the agendas are posted.
In the meantime, if you havenÕt already emailed the Supervisors and Mayor to express your support for Supervisor PeskinÕs resolution, please do so this week. Their emails are — Malia.Cohen@sfgov.org, Norman.Yee@sfgov.org, Vallie.Brown@sfgov.org, Sandra.Fewer@sfgov.org, Jane.Kim@sfgov.org, Hillary.Ronen@sfgov.org, Aaron.Peskin@sfgov.org, Katy.Tang@sfgov.org, Ahsha.Safai@sfgov.org, MandelmanStaff@sfgov.org, Catherine.Stefani@sfgov.org, MayorLondonBreed@sfgov.org
We have lots of good materials and talking points posted at https://www.tuolumne.org/baydeltaplan/
Also, please tune into KQED Forum (88.5) on Wednesday, October 31 at 9am. We'll be discussing the Bay Delta Plan alongside the SFPUC.
Thanks for your support!
