Dirty Water: Stay Out of San Pedro Creek

Much as we love San Pedro Creek and the steelhead that spawn in it, we need to remember (and tell the kids) to stay out of the creek. It is a fish and wildlife habitat, not meant for human contact, especially because the water is contaminated with bacteria harmful to people. This sign is on the Peralta Street bridge over troubled water. (Photo by John Maybury, amateur photographer gone wild, thanks to a loose Canon)
