Thanks to all of you who came out this past Sunday for a lovely 10-mile ride—or some part thereof (if you left early or came late). And thanks to those of you who intended to come but didn't, those who addressed the biking throngs, those who helped pass the word about the ride, and those who still have no idea what In Search of Good Food is all about! If you're one of the latter, please check out IN SEARCH OF GOOD FOOD
There you'll find a wrap-up from the bike ride, a trailer for the ISOGF movie project, as well as multitudes of information on sustainable agricultural happenings around California (compiled from the road while on a two-month trip around the state). On the site, you can also sign up your email to receive updates from the blog (about the progress of the movie and related events). If you'd like to be notified about future events, but don't want the blog emails, don't worry: I will be adding you to my email list! Of course, if you don't want to be on such a list, just write back with "4 wheels and a Big Mac" in the subject line—I'll get the hint.
The ride was such a success that I might do it again, so tell all your friends who might be interested to let me know that they'd attend if I held a similar ride at a future date. Consider donating to the movie project if you can! We have an online widget for paypal-type transactions, or better, you can send it to me directly! If you'd like tax-deduction, we are a fiscally sponsored project, so let me know and I can make it happen!
