Apparently the burglar (above) changed his mind and returned the loot after hearing that he had been caught on video. Store owner Toni Boykin of Linda Mar had posted this on NextDoor neighborhood forum over the weekend: "My store was burglarized about 3 hours ago. Lots of jewelry and scrap gold. We are in the process of reviewing the video. This is the first picture we've been able to print. It is the person who broke our window. I have video as well. If anyone knows how to download video from a QSEE system, please let us know; the police technician who used to do this is no longer with the Pacifica Police Department. Very disheartening that in the videos, people walked by, looked at the broken glass, and didn't report anything to the police. It wasn't until Brian at Columbo's arrived to do their daily baking that the police were called. Alarm failed."
