Oil-fracking chemicals in our oranges and strawberries? Yeah yeah yeah -- we've all heard it: Buy local organic produce. Or grow your own. But how many of us regularly buy California strawberries, mandarin oranges known as Cuties and Halos, and other produce from the Central Valley, without considering that there might be oil production chemicals in the food? Think you've heard everything? Fracking chemicals boost fat cells. Since some of them are endocrine disruptors, that makes sense.

Of course, endocrine disrupters can do much more than make you fat! But that's enough to get an incurable case of diabetes.
