HILL'S BILLS: CPUC REFORM

For the most part, this is rearranging the deck chairs while keeping overall control tightly with corporation "owned" politicians and powerful government bureaucracies. No utility executives on the state PUC within two years of retirement? Good grief! How about no such executives on the PUC *ever*? To be coupled with a prohibition of any former PUC commissioner or executive ever becoming an executive with a corporation regulated by the PUC? How about PUC commissioners elected by the citizens of the state? So easy to conceive of more honest, beneficial, and democratic reforms; so difficult to work on that with Governor Brown (definitely not green) and a huge state government as bad as our corrupt federal government.
