Monterey-Waterford rezoning-development @ Pacifica Planning Commission, June 17

Proposed rezoning and development of the vacant lot at Monterey and Waterford, next to the car wash, in Pacific Manor, goes before the Pacifica Planning Commission in a study session Monday, June 17. If approved, the general plan amendments and associated development permits would allow construction of a commercial-residential, mixed-use structure of up to 12 dwelling units on the 9,500-square-foot property. Applicant: Ojanen Chiou Architects, LLP.

People driving in and out of Pacifica also see the City Maintenance Yard.

Consider the height of a building that would hold commercial space and the proposed 12 residential units, and parking, on this 9,500-square-foot parcel. It would necessitate a four-story structure, unlike anything else anywhere in Pacifica -- and the first thing visitors would see traveling southbound on Highway 1.
