How is it that this guy coming over to to America makes a lot of money on stock at Sun Microsystems, then blocks everybody on the Coast using the beach that was always accessible for generations of Californians?

In today's climate, anyone in the top 2 percent income range, and any billionaire, generally gets their way. They are not above the law, but they sure can bend it, if only because with all their millions they are able to extend appeal after appeal, whereas everyday people -- the 98 percent or so -- do not have the time.

Shoshana Zuboff's new book “The Age of Surveillance Capitalism” takes a look at billionaires and how, right now, they have the upper hand -- and looks at what we might be able to do to flip that.

For one thing, *everyone* must VOTE!
