Also, apparently, GGNRA has decided that we here in San Mateo County love the viral load foisted on us by them and their orphaned locations, which they never close or clean. The neighborhoods especially love the porta-potties that so enhance the quality of the area, and love the hordes that show up and park up every square inch and leave behind their virus, garbage, and dog poop. I was also wondering about whatever happened to protecting the endangered-species sites. With hundreds of people, kids, dogs, bikes, etc., trotting up and down on those sites every day of the week from sunup to sundown, the snakes and frogs can't be doing very well. Maybe Mr. Plater can initiate a lawsuit against GGNRA for its blatant lack of control with respect to preservation of the species that he so cared about.

If the state park beaches on the Midcoast are left open as they have been on recent weekends when Pacifica and Half Moon Bay beaches were closed, COVID-19 hell will be added to traffic hell. When *all* beach parking lots and roadsides were closed during the lockdown, traffic wasn't all that bad.

Let's see now:
-- Labor Day weekend.
-- Inland temperatures near 100.
-- Inland smoke alert.
-- Widespread cabin fever.
-- Pacifica beaches/parking lots closed.
-- HMB beaches/parking lots open.
Sounds like a recipe for the Coastside Traffic Jam From Hell.
