There was also the Coast Advocate aka Pennant at the turn of the century in Half Moon Bay, the Pacifica Record out of South San Francisco (which may have predated incorporation, so its name is curious), the Coastside Comet in Moss Beach, the Pescadero Pebble, the Beach Comber in Half Moon Bay, and the Colma Record. Since the trains went from SF to Colma and then out to the coast, it is likely the Colma Record has some interesting history on Pacifica. Many older papers named passengers and where they were from, very useful for genealogy trails. Most of these older papers are only on microfilm.
