On June 7, there was a hatchery salmon release at Pillar Point Harbor. San Mateo County Harbor District, which endorsed the Bay Delta Plan a few years ago, hosted a special meeting on site so it could observe and discuss the release. Golden State Salmon Association, Tuolumne River Trust, and Coastside Fishing Club were invited to comment on closure of the salmon fishing season, the Tuolumne River salmon population, and the Bay Delta Plan. They met at the end of Johnson Pier at 8:45 a.m. for initial comments. The fish release began at 9 a.m.
